Darwin, as a scientist, used the term "race" in the correct biological sense - "an actually or potentially interbreeding group within a species."
By that definition, all human beings belong to the same race. The non-scientific concept of race, based on skin colour, is an artificial construct - and not what Darwin was referring to.
