It seems to be the main unifying characteristic of the Christian fundamentalists I've met: they're all thoroughly-convinced that someone (or everyone) is out to get them. If it were 20-30 years ago, Mikey here would probably be ranting about the Jews instead.
The phrase "Delusions of persecution" almost doesn't apply, more like "fantasies of persecution" - it seems that they want (or need) to feel persecuted so they have something to rail against. Anything to feed that Christian martyr complex.
It's probably one of those unanswerable chicken-or-the-egg questions: does Christian fundamentalism cause people to lose grip on reality and indulge in delusions of persecution? Or does fundamentalist Christianity just attract people who already have a persecution complex and no grip on reality?

in NL the govenrment subsedises people who want to go to university. as a result almost everyone who educaed as a high level of highschool goes to university, and a large portion of the middle level highschools stream on after gettign their bachelors at a "hoge school".

- The murders of abortion doctors: George Tiller (2008), Barnett Slepian (1998) and David Gunn (1993).
- The murders of two clinic employees and a security guard at abortion clinics.
- The murder of Matthew Shepard.
- An Uganda law that would put homosexuals in jail or to death.
- A boy starved to death for not saying "Amen".
- A girl died from diabetes because her parents believed if that they prayed enough, God would cure her.
Recently, an American politican stated "the number of children who are born subsequent to a first abortion with handicaps has increased dramatically." I wonder how Sarah Palin feels about this comment.

yep. but you must understand. When someone bashes my religion by talking about the evils of Christianity, which is my philosophy, I fire back about the greater evils of Atheism, and then you come along like I started blaming the philosophy when it's you people that impune the religion. My point is, if you Atheists think Christianity causes evil in the world, you are throwing stones from a glass house filled with murdered corpses. Now. you take back that Chrianity causes evil or be slapped with the fact your philosophy has 1000 times as many victims. If you don't believe Christianity causes evil, then I won't link Atheism to Marx and the other evil men. because I only use it when atheists use it.
But I have to say, I think Atheism has no basis for right and wrong. That has to come from a creator alone. If there is no creator, we make our own rules. And when that happens, the evil man always get the power.

euganda is a good example though. But I don't concider any evil man's words as reality. They always rationize things that are completely irrational, and we need to teach our people to rely only on Biblical teachings. Anything more is mans attempt to use our book for their gain.
And we Christians bear this weight around our necks and our enemies use it against us. So we as Christians need to take responsibility and keep the Bible and only the Bible, in our hearts. But there is a bigger trail of blood, if that is what you are really concerned about. But chances are, you only care about who we killed. If you are strong in philosophy. Why don't you know you are incapable of understanding good and evil if you are an Atheist? What is your basis that makes good and evil a factor in nature? You learned good and Evil from the bible. Without it, there is no reason to concider anything good or evil. You wouldn't even be able to conceive it, if not for the Bible. As for creationism, you can't really avoid it since its a religion, but i still try to stand clear of the "god-issue" even there.
