Sonic labels their servers "Don't join unless you're sonic".

I have one to add Chris. Don't call a server host an idiot (as you have) for refusing to follow your demmands as to how settings are to be adjusted.

Something tells me you will be banned more than YOU think you should be, teams or no teams.

To continue, If you got booted/banned from a server, it's much easier to go play somewhere where people actually want you, rather than fight to be around a bunch of people who want to get rid of you.

Teams are okay, but when they go to extremes such as this, they become a nuisance. 'Sides, if you're dominant, why not play in a new way that challenges your skills?

On one hand, someone can do almost anything they want within their own server. They put it up, they own it. However, as Tiger says, groups/clubs/teams/clans sometimes will boot people from their servers without good reason. I'm not going to say they can't do that, but I will say that I don't like it.

I have been very vocal in the past about my opinion on clubs, but honestly its just a bunch of noobs, no one cares who they are. If I see them though, then that is different >:D

It's immature and shows dullness on the part of its perpetrators (*points at the comment directly above his*), but if ya can't brush it off, like noted start your own server. Also keep in mind that the ''teams'' are virtual. Those people got nothin' on gangs, so if I were you I'd spend my time caring about other things than them.

Once there was this guy with the username "Zeus" and banned me because he said I didnt have a greek name. My real name has greek origin but nevermind that.

My two cents:

I think that the teams are fine, but they should not be taken too seriously. Team sonic has a meeting running all the time. They also have said that all people on team element are liars. Although this statement could be true of some, it's extremely unlikely that all of them are. Furthermore, some of them are good players. You shouldn't discount people just because there on an enemy team. It's teamist. Besides, isn't this just a game. There is no need to fight with another team except to have fun, so don't judge players by what team there on.

I accidentaly bumped into team bomb before I ever heard about teams. They didn't seem do discriminate against me, they just ignored me (in the chat) but they did talk rivalry between teams. It's fine with me if people make teams as long as they aren't mean, which they haven't been to me yet.

Teams, Clans or whatever people choose to call them will always be here.

I like the idea of players helping other players improve their skills or just have fun together.

Unfortunately this is not the agenda in most of the teams/ clans I have encountered.

I don't care much for teams or clans, but do not evict or ban them on contact either.

- Noobs are asked politely to play by the rules, and if that doesn't help, they are simply evicted.

They may rejoin and will be allowed to stay if they follow my rules. If not, they are banned.

It may sound like I'm just another bad cop, but I find this method less tiresome than the alternative.

- Besides, our bad cop really isn't that bad once you get to know him. ;O)

I totally agree....and I've always thought these teams are a little strange. Clubs like ACC are nice and make sense but players are actually getting rude between some teams, hate flying around etc :/

1. I took a screenshot of the registered *cough* Person calling me an idiot for not changing my settings according to said "Person" 's demands so I know it did in fact happen.

2. There have been numerous posts about how booting should be controlled by someone besides the server host to increase fairness and every single one of those posts were created by people that deserved to be booted and the posts have all ended the same way with most of the community agreeing that A. host must remain king of the server and B. if booted, accept that you're not welcome and move to the next server or create your own.

Just so everyone knows, my servers are almost always for aerial dogfighting in the buggy with low agility and other vehicles disabled. If anyone repeatedly interferes with the game or gamers they get booted.

Join me some time Chris and try an intense dogfight in the buggy! No distractions, very little talking, a lot of flying and shooting! We try to keep the text box full of Quarry change announcements and "got"s.

Teams are getting worse. I mean, I've always been okay with teams, since they've never really bothered anyone (except for the Club Wars, ugh...) But just yesterday I've seen some worse stuff. Remember back in 1.9 how all the clubs wanted t "Kill" or "Beat" each other? Just to feel tough? I saw Multiple Team Sonic "Meetings" in-game and another game named "Kill Team Sonic." These so-called "meetings" started in 1.9. So did the hate between clubs. I think we need to put out the spark before it turns into a bonfire. Lots of people were also following Team Sonics example, creating other teams. We might have a big problem on our hands if we don't stop teams from ruining the last version of Mars Explorer.
