ehm...i get cell biology, biochemistry molecular genetics at my university.
a great deal of those disciplines deals with how the evolution of the most primitive cells went.
so YES i can tell if soem twat lies when he dares to call the first cell "an ameoba"! that is so blatantly false it's not even funny.
there were much easier ways to simplify this to an uneducated audience, but he chose the obvious false one.
ameoba are EUCARYOTES, with LOTS OF ACCUMILATED genomic material.
they are much, MUCH more advanced then the first cell....for christ sakes man, THEY HAVE TUBULIN PROPULSION!!!

first of all i would just like to point out that the previous comment was only a friend of mine who i introduced to this page. He doesn't have ao account yet so he used mine.
And about the other thing, i don't really know if it would work.

exactly. Luckelly Seacom is laying those fibre optic cables around africa. And the best is that we might benefite the most because both cables are ending up here, one coming in from Cape Town and the other from Durban.

well, ronnie might have a point there. If the government can provide the infrastructure for this and the tax payers pay only a small amount of money for the upkeep of it. And there is no fees added for the actual use of it, it could be considered free.
Hell, i would gladly rather pay tax on that. than for the cabinet's brand new houses and cars. It could even create new jobs.

you guessed it. The strange thing is that our government acknowledges the problem and them does nothing about it.
At this moment even our president, holding the highest office in our country doesn't have the gutts to stand up to the injustices occuring in his own party. He's a horrible example for the anti-AIDS campaign his own government focuses so much on, by having his twentieth child from one of his five wives. What South Africa needs now is major change.

he is an afrikaner leader (of the AWB). I'm not one of his followers although some people i know are. At this moment we have many different leaders. I personally don't follow any of them because i know the last thing this country needs is some racist boer as a leader. But what i tried to point out was that it would spark tension between ethnic groups, tension that was already high enough. And no us afrikaners are not the minority that live in the rural areas. More than 70% of us lives in the urban cities. And although we are just a minority, we own more than 90% of the formal market in South Africa.
Btw. I thought that if anything were to happen to us now, its over. But what i found out today is that we have a massive 'underground' network, stretching from the average person to deep in the military to overseas and so. Most of the afrikaners aren't even in SA.
I'm in Mozambique at the moment were leaving in two days heading back to SA, I'm not worried its just that i've been cut off lately from the outside world untill yesterday evening.
