2 bad all he does is writing poor arguments for creationism without even doing any real research/scientific work.  Its like he writes a debate article for a local newspaper.

For that matter, you'll probably encounter better writing & more compelling arguments from the "Letters to the Editor".

If nothing else, the quality of his dissertation makes it clear why Hovind avoids written debate.

"Hi!  My name is Kent Hovind."

BAWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

What a piece of crap.

No real university would continue reading after that first dot-matrixed line.

"There's nothing new under the sun."

Um, Kent hon, a doctoral thesis is supposed to add to mankind's knowledge.

you know what? I should start quoting rules from the bro-code to show you how much effect your out of placed psalms are.

Brocode article 28 states:
28) A Bro will, in a timely manner, alert his Bro to the existence of a fight between two fellow human beings of the female variety. If an informed bro is unable to witness the fight first hand, a spotter bro is responsible for documenting and relating details of girl fight via pictures, video or, barring any other reasonable method, interpretive dance and/or pantomime.

auw..

seriously, ronnie, bigdog kent, and the rest of you.
read this "dissertation" and see if you can still get the words "kent hovind" and "acedemic literate" in the same scentance.

this is an utter CRAP "dissertation". if you can't see why, you certainly have very little knowledge of what a dissertation is supposed to look like, let alone a scientifically responsible short book.
i mean...WHERES THE SOURCE LIST???!
if anything, he should have put at least the bible on his source list!

and omg, wtf is this about darwins dad being so fat the had to cut a hole from the table (p28)?
HOW IS THAT EVEN RELEVANT!?!?

Hovind, GET YOU ASS BACK TO HIGHSCHOOL!

"23) When flipping through TV channels with his Bros, a Bro is not allowed to skip past a program featuring boobs. This includes but is not limited to, exercise shows, women's athletics, and on some occasions surgery programs. "

¨so glad to see that your morals and codes runs on basic animal instinct....¨

well ya,
atlruism and the biological leash work just fine.

unlike smashing all non believers head on rocks that is.
or slavery.

(but seriously...anthony with even the most basic education in biology you would understand the incredible benefits any sort of ¨morality¨ would bring to a social group animal. right?
you were studying life sciences right?)
(there have been a LOT of papers on the subject of morality...just read em.)

but don´t tell me you actually think this is a WORTHY THESIS??!

I see you like quotes. Here's one of my favourites:

"I would defend the liberty of consenting adult creationists to practice whatever intellectual perversions they like in the privacy of their own homes; but it is also necessary to protect the young and innocent." -Arthur C. Clarke

Unfortunately Kent Hovind's Dissertation has been taken off-line for some reason. Perhaps the shame of putting up such a horridly written piece of text was the cause.

The little snippet I found of it was quite terrible, the sentences were choppy and incomplete, a real flow was never established, and the vocabulary used was less than eloquent for a paper of a "teacher".

If Kent Hovind wants to actually try and give us good reasons and solid proof as to why creation is in fact true and real, then he'll have to dramatically improve his writing skills. I would suggest High School English 9 as a start.

You know what's truly terrifying? The idea that there are students out there, maybe even in the workforce, who were "educated" by that man.

It looks like he'll have plenty of time on his hands for the forseeable future, maybe there's a prison remedial English course he could take.

Nobody has been able to track down any school this guy has worked for. I am pretty sure the whole "taught science in high school for 15 years" thing was him referring to home schooling his OWN children. If this is wrong please don't correct me. It is the only way i have been able to sleep at night.

I believe that any teaching that Kent did was through private Baptist schools.
