I think some of Mr. Hovinds teachings should be updated. I am enjoying the CSE classes very much although I do not agree with everything.
I would like to talk to other christians and also the sceptics out there about the right "solar-system".
What do you think about this topic?

lulz... no1 ever claimed that. it is mearely out our perspective that makes it look like it's moving from "east to west".

awesome! a site that attacks the heliocentric model and doesn't even mention galileo. No calculations. Only a really bad color scheme that gives me a headache and makes it really hard to read. Strawman based arguments and nonsense looking like conspiracy talk. Like connections between madonna - kabbala - evolution myths - NASA - lie in heliocentrism. It's absurd to even use madonna in an argument to convince someone of discarding what the majority of the scientific community claims. EDIT: I forgot to mention the work of Sir Isaac Newton in this matter.

Now there's no need for an explaination for why he found the evidence to support the theory he so joyfully created. Also fun how the author of the site doesn't make any connections between all the "bad" things. Like where does Darwinism go to economics and government?! I just don't get it, but as he is a conspricay freak it would tend logical to draw a line between 2 seperate things even though they have nothing in common.

Just off the top of my head, I can think of two basic objections to geocentrism:
1) The mass of the Earth is a fraction of the mass of the Sun - there's no way that an object with the Sun's mass would orbit an object with the Earth's mass.
2) Direct observations that contradict geocentrism. Every major object in the solar system (the Sun and all of the planets) has been visited by man-made probes - not to mention about 400 years of observing the solar system through telescopes. By this point, I'd say we have a fairly good idea of the positions of the sun and planets, as well as their positions relative to each other.

Wow. Creationists (and, evidently, geocentrists) are not only scientifically illiterate, but they're also apparently ignorant of basic intellectual concepts like "burden of proof."

I can only conclude that, because they're so thoroughly unaccustomed to questioning any aspect of their beliefs, even their most absurd beliefs (like the literal creation) are taken as givens.

I suppose that all of the gravitational forces in the universe could offset each other in such a way that Earth remains perfectly stationary, but its unlikely.

it's not unlikely, it's imposible, and that's just in the calculations.
