soooo, why havent you won any scientific discussion, creationists? why don't you ever manage to downright expose the flaws you have with out "reasoning"?
i've looked at a large numer of posts on creation topics and scientific topics, and so far haven't found a SINGLE ONE where a creationist has either postign a conclusive remark annihalating the oppositions arguments OR has shown enough evidence to force that person in the intellectually honest submission, "i was wrong.".
on the other hand we (your opposition) have pointed out numerous strawmen, lies and misconceptions, and downright mistakes in your arguemnts and your "scientific" support.
and when we do that, you seem to almost always post a troll and then leave for the next discussion and act like nothing ever happened.
this OR i haven't looked enough into all the discussions here, where you might have won one.

I guess I could see how someone who is COMPLETELY ignorant of ANY field of science could be convinced simply by his authoritative demeanor however his "debates" are completely void of any substance and are teeming with misinformation. I find it really hard to think that Kent, knowing it is wrong to blatantly lie, does, but I am not naive enough to believe that Christians do not lie either. I just cant believe he would do that, for all the world to see. Does not seem a good idea, or a way of getting to the truth.

It's not a completely forgone conclusion that he's a liar. It could be that he's merely staggeringly-ignorant and uninformed of the topics that talks about.
Of course, considering that Hovind's falsehoods have been corrected many, many times, it's hard not to reach the conclusion that he is willfully-ignorant (which I would consider to be a form of dishonesty).

Indeed. That might be why even other creationists have criticized his arguments as being fallacious.

As far as creationists go, it seems that they prefer (and have no problem with) lies that support their pre-existing convictions - as opposed to truth that calls their beliefs into question in any way.

The difference being that those folks are normally fringe crazies, who tend to be just as ignorant of science as most creationists. But with creationism, the "fringe crazies" (Kent Hovind, Ken Ham, Kirk Cameron, etc) are the primary public spokespeople for their beliefs.

You are making the assumption that kent hovind is Christian. Non Christian often claim to be Christian and tell people what they want to hear for a buck. Hovind is not the first and he shall not be the last. There is a reason he is in federal prison for tax evasion. Do you REALLY believe the government just wanted to silence his ministry? I suggest to you that hovind is not interested in the truth...he is interested in the dollar...and his personal comfort and delusions of immortality.
