Hi 9Tails. This blog is your personal blog, so I was thinking why don't you create two seperate content areas on this site, one for people with real ideas to help your pastor Dr. Hovind and the other for everybody like these scoffers badgering your site? People who go to the helping side with negative scoffing comments would just be deleted every time they put a scoffer comment. They could put there negative comments on the schoffer side. I think, personally your wasting a lot of time over these two or three scoffers. Sincerely Bigdog.

to be fair bigdog, tere ar emore scoffers than creationist on this site, at least the ones ho post regularely.

what you are proposing is atype of censoring, which wouldn't help your cause one bit.

oh and btw it's you creationist who drop out of discussion with us "scoffers. an dit happens everytime you are asked to give real scientific evidence, contructive defense or when your point has been ennihalated beyond defense and you have to admit that you might have been wrong.

To be fair, I would love to see a different forum format as well. Something as simple as EZ board would be better. If the admin wants ideas I would gladly share some free software for review.

Ditto. There are dozens of options out there - phpBB, vbulletin, numerous forum plugins for WordPress, etc.

I just thought that it'd be cool, if it was my website, to listen to all your monkey to man junk science fiction, just for good luaghs, in one forum and then actually listen to people who want to help Dr. Hovind in another, but it doesn't seem that they want to do that anymore.

What is there to discuss about how to help Hovind?

1) Pray for him.

2) Pay his legal bills (send money to Lindsey Springer or call 1-918-748-5539)

3) Pay his back taxes

There is not a whole lot more you can do. He must petition the PotUS to get a pardon so you can't do that for him.

You could write him I suppose.

Greetings everyone!

I am constantly improving PlexPedia (which you can think of as my "forum" system - although it's much more than that), and I welcome your suggestions for features that would make it more useful to you.

In response to BigDog's original post; my long term goal is to limit the scope of this forum to matters pertaining directly to Kent Hovind - and to shift all other content and discussions to PlexPedia.com itself - but I have a couple more features I'd like to add before implementing this change.

If you have lots of ideas for PlexPedia, please post them in the Development Group to help keep everything focused and on track.

That also includes exposing his lies and misrepresentations doesn't it?

I suppose that if Hovind is the only one that advocates a particular idea, then yes - this forum could be an appropriate place to discuss it.

But honestly, I am not particularly excited about people endlessly "discussing" anything. I consider the entire format of a forum to be distinctly unsuited for an orderly presentation of substantiated, evidence backed cases on topics as large as conflicting worldviews - and I am working on a system which is something like a combination between a wiki and a spreadsheet - and which I believe will be much more productive than a forum for discussions on topics of this magnitude.

Don't expect this to be released too soon - I have lots of other projects "in the works" as well - but this is one of the things I had in mind when I mentioned "a couple more features" in my previous post.

That does make sense. It is very strange to have a site run by Christians that take posts contray to that view and then don't delete them. It will be a shame to have you convert the site to one of those where only parroting Christian talking points can be published but it will not be unexpected. Hopefully before then a few people will open their eyes to science.

I'm afraid that you completely misunderstood me:

I already have a site for people with many different worldviews to share knowledge, ideas, and critiques with each other. It is called PlexPedia.com
My long term goal is to switch all discussions in the FreeHovind group that aren't directly related to Kent Hovind FROM FreeHovind TO PlexPedia. This is not censorship - this is organization
This will not happen until I build quite a few more features into PlexPedia
